Wait, what?!? Are they doing more than just one show?

After the recent Get Up Kids and Cap'n Jazz reunions I had three other reunion requests: 1.) Braid (happening!); 2.) Christie Front Drive (happening!); and 3.) The Promise Ring (happening next year?? http://www.myspace.com/music/blog/2011/6/2/the-promise-ring-talk-reunion )

The mid-90's emo reunion gravy train is really moving forward and I couldn't be happier about it.

That would be pretty sweet. Does anyone know what's going on with Sunny Day Real Estate? They were working on new music last year, but nothing has been heard form them since.

It's like screamo but heavier and sometimes less singing, but not always. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the two.

More seriously about screamo, though, I've started to check out some of these European bands that the kids seem to be into these days like Daitro from France and La Quiete and Raein from Italy.These three tend to be more melodic like Saetia, Envy, or Funeral Diner rather than the violent sound of Pg. 99 and Orchid. I like what I've heard so far.

Wait there's a new Jealous Sound album coming out?!? Saw them open for Death Cab about 10 years ago and loved their EP and LP (and also loved at least one Knapsack album back in the day).

They got back together for the Sunny Day Real Estate reunion tour and they've been slowly working on new material since then.
