Music Update 11.29.2010

(Andy Zipf)

The two days of craziness (Thanksgiving then Black Friday) has always made me tired, but over the years I’ve developed a lovely ritual to soothe my pains away.  It’s called nap time.  Seriously it really works!  It can start with a good book or maybe some pretty acoustic music by Andy Zipf.  Well we’re on the subject of Mr. Zipf you should go check out the limited time free download of Stumble On The Line (no it’s not new but it’s free).  Look for his new full length coming January 2011 and oh dear lord my eyelids are already starting to droop.  Go hear his music here -> Andy Zipf’s Myspace.

For more relaxing music watch this Anberlin acoustic session they made for Alter The Press -> Impossible acoustic.

As if you needed to hear about it, Relient K has an awesome acoustic tour starting December 1st.  Twas The Tour Before Christmas and all through the venue not a soul was moshing as Sherwood and Deas Vail warmed up the crowd.  It’s kinda of awkward to mosh acoustically (I would know).  Click here for the dates -> Relient K’s Website.

I’m happy to announce Flyleaf is about to release a new CD.  Comprised of old songs, rare songs and a few new ones it’ll be released in stores and online in two weeks 12/7/2010.  Anyone aware of the band when they were called Passerby will pleased to hear some old songs revived for the album.   Click here for a sample of the new CD -> Flyleaf’s Facebook.

So now that I’ve given you more acoustic music then necessary I wish you a good day.  I’m off to rest.  Sincerely yours, Toby
