"The Dark Forest" is a dark orchestral opera in a fairy tale setting. It is a dramatic tale of evil, sacrifice and love. It stars John Johnson, lead singer of Vroom, as The Woodcutter, Julia Zulia of Divebomber as The Daughter and Peter Kusek as The Dark Elf.

Scene 5: "The Confrontation"
By taking a shortcut, The Woodcutter beats The Dark Elf to the cottage, where unknowing to any danger is The Woodcutter's Daughter who is happily finishing her chores. The Woodcutter yells to the Daughter to quickly drop everything and escape on her horse. Just as they start to ride off into the woods, The Dark Elf bursts into the clearing and gives chase as the Woodcutter and Daughter enter the Great Forest.
