Beavis and Butt-head was just pure genius. I know some people that think it's the stupidest thing they have ever seen and I would call those people idiots. I still find this show hilarious (with or without the music videos). I was thirteen when the show first came on and I always had to sneak around my parents to watch it. It was up there with Ren and Stimpy as my favorite cartoons of that day. I loved everything about this show and everything about Beavis and Butthead. Their never ending string of fart jokes, their always unsuccessful tries at getting laid and all their anti-social commentary made their show genius. The show was something that the world was not ready for and it was something that made kids and adults across the country laugh and mad at the same time. The show opened the door for shows like South Park to get on the air and be successful. Beavis and Butt-head did for the animation world what The Ramones did for the music world. It showed that you really didn't have to have a world of talent to be successful and have fun. It was genius.

The third disc contains some great goodies. It contains eleven music videos! It's what you wanted and you got it. It just isn't enough. I wish there were more. It also contains a half hour featurette called Taint Of Greatness: The Journey Of Beavis and Butt-head Part 1. It's pretty informative and funny. It's basically the making of the show but also goes into depth of how the show exploded and also delve into all the major characters. The disc also contains the Thanksgiving special with Kurt Loder, the music video appearances, show promos and two hilarious montages. This three disc collection is a must have for Beavis and Butt-head fans. It's all you could hope for if you are a fan. If only there were music videos, this DVD would be flawless, well for that and they are missing my all time favorite episode when Beavis gets a nosebleed.
