John Spalding of Suffering and the Hideous Thieves has been diagnosed with cancer. In light of the bad news a whole bunch of amazing artists are planning a benefit for Seattle’s Paradox Theatre tomorrow night – June 18. On the bill are Damien Jurado, Suffering and the Hideous Thieves, History Invades and Chris Staples. Tickets are $7 and all proceeds will go to John.
