Kids Like Us is not to be confused with the European youth crew Kids Like Us who released a 7" in the late 90's. No this a different Kids Like Us. They are from Florida and play more punk influenced hardcore. I find them to be very close to the sound of No Warning and Right Brigade, but with more punk flare. Their angry lyrics border on absurd and honestly just made me laugh. I like how they don’t take them so seriously. The F bomb is used in just about everyway the English language allows. There really isn’t anything special here when it comes to hardcore or even punk but it’s not all that bad. There are very solid mosh parts and great riffs but it isn’t all that original. I find the art work great and that is always taken into account when I am reviewing an album.
