Basically, when you mix Strike Anywhere and Kid Dynamite you will mostly likely get something that resembles Orlando, Florida's, New Mexican Disaster Squad. Don't get me wrong, they get their influences from other older school bands but the sound is basically a mix of both once Jade Tree bands. Look at what label they are on...Jade Tree. This is not a new fresh band on the scene, this is their third album. I do not have any previous albums to base their sound off of so I am just left with their first Jade Tree album, Don't Believe.
Overall the album is pretty solid. The vocals are hard and raspy like Jason of Kid Dynamite. The lyrics are politically and socially charged. The music as I said a mix of Kid Dynamite and Strike Anywhere. You can hear and feel influences from bands like Black Flag and other old school hardcore/punk bands. They are a great punk rock band and something that punk rock needs right now with the overwhelming waves of bands playing pop friendly "punk" to make a quick buck. It's also another good release from Jade Tree.
