Peter Veness once wanted to be an astronaut but he was not good enough at math, the same problem arose several years later when he auditioned for the Tool fan club.
He’s still not that good at math but he now gets syncopated rhythms and thus likes Thrice quite a lot.

Bec keeps him stable for the most part, as does his unfulfilled interests in philosophy, art, literature, poetry and Christianity.
He needs to get out in the mountains more often but he needs the city too.
Dreams are being made of a move to Mexico but it’s all a bit too beat-romantic for him to really follow it through.
Veness’ life is a constant balancing act between bohemian idealism and capitalistic creature comforts.
