My city is surrounded in Elms and most of them need to be cut down but The Elms blaring from my stereo are in no need of a haircut.
The Nashville boys have inked an exclusive major label deal with Universal Records. The as yet untitled LP is slated for a January release but the band has already warned that might not happen.
"The Elms will begin recording their debut general-market album on August 20, and will spend August and September completing what no doubt promises to be the band's finest work to date. The album will be recorded and mixed in Nashville and Los Angeles, and will be co-produced by the band and veteran producer/engineer David Bianco (Tom Petty, Rage Against The Machine, AC/DC, Black Crowes, Primal Scream)," according to their
official website.
