There isn't a whole lot to explain or even to review with this album. You Will Die is the hardcore/metalcore answer to Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Nothing but music but fashioned towards a different audience than that of GY!BE. I found it entertaining but not something I could sink my teeth into for too long. I love GY!BE but there is a lot going on with that band, YWD is more of the same with different variations here and there but that doesn't make it bad. It's a solid record and an awesome idea but I don't think it'll catch on with too many people. It's talented and unique but my attention span wonders too often to find it in my music rotation for more than a day.
