This season of 24 thankfully is getting away from 24isms that was bugging me so much.  After a couple seasons the just kept using the same plot elements. 

 

Some of the plot elements that were gonna bug me thankfully never materialized.  Oh, Jack needs to be arrested… again.  But that didn't last long.  Oh, Jack can't talk to anyone else in CTU except one person.  That didn't last long either.  Oh geez, another mole in CTU.  Wait, it's not really a terrorist.

 

Did anyone ever notice that CTU is like the least secure place in L.A.?  Doesn't the president know never to even come close to that city by now?  If the show is in real time, how come no one ever goes to the bathroom? How come Jack has to whisper all the time?  How come he always has to check over his shoulder every time he gets a phone call?

 

But anyways back to the topic.  I'm enjoying this season a little more than the past couple of seasons.  And that's with me not really liking a bunch of this season's early episodes. 

 

By the way Jack Bauer has killed 15 people so far in 12 episodes this season.  This show is a just a little different than American Idol.
