So the girls in American Idol are a pretty mediocre bunch.  Yeah, Mandisa is a lot better than the rest, but even she isn't consistent with her pitch.  Last night was her only good night.  Paris just keeps going downhill, that other young girl is boring.  Just about everyone is messy with her pitch.  I really like Melissa's voice, and she did great on that Heart song, but she's not gonna get votes.  Katherine McPhee can sing, but she has no power.  Pickens is weak.  It's a big yawn when it comes to that whole group.

 

Hopefully the guys will make better TV.
