During the second week of building our house, everything seemed to go very quickly. 

 

The footers were filled with stone.

 

 

Man, I should totally be a model.

 

 

Our dog Brutus finds some way to help the building process.

 

 

Now they make these lego type walls so they can pour concrete into them to make the basement walls.

 

 

Uh oh.  The big guns are here.

Can you believe it?  I'm "inside" our house.

 

 

This is where all the magic will happen.  I'm not sure what a "comode" is, but I'm sure it's cool.

 

 

Hey, look, the wood is here for the framing and it has my name on it.

 

On the last day of the week, they drop off where even more magic will be made.

 

I will promise you… I will not use the porto-potty. 

 

But someone else has already used the dumpster.  Unless for some reason the framers needed a beach chair and an old chandelier to do their work.
