As if I didn't have enough time in the week already, now 24, American Idol and Lost are all back.
Here's my day: I work, then I go to basketball practice or a basketball game, we lose, get dinner, then by the time I'm home it's like the next day. So like, I have no time already.
American Idol is fine cause I can work while it's on. I don't have to totally watch. Like last night I got most all the contribution receipts done for those of you who contributed to either the kids in India or the Philippines. Remember, it's tax deductible, so make sure you include it in your tax return. (Your contributions, not American Idol.)
There's tons of spoilers in the rest of this post, so consider yourself warned.
Here's my read on the new season of 24…
I'm so used to the writing of this show that I can predict so much of what's going to happen. I foresaw the David Palmer thing. I knew the Russian President landing thing was just a diversion of the real objective. I knew that the whole airport thing was just a precursor for the real threat this season. That's just cause I'm going off the template of all the other season. Oh, some bad thing is going on, oh wait, that wasn't the real threat.
But anyways, here's the good. No Kim, yet. No cougars. Hopefully we won't have a mole inside CTU. That is like the most unsecure place ever.
You wanna see something funny in 24? Watch whenever Jack answers the phone. He always has to look around nervously for absolutely no reason. He can be totally alone in a closet, but he still has to do that look around thing.
So Chloe is great. I like the mother/son thing. They need the whole family emotion thing, that's what worked for the first season so well.
Okay onto Lost. Hey it's good. If you're not watching it, you have to rent the first season and watch it, then somehow get caught up.
Okay now onto American Idol. Not much to report here. Just you can tell when someone is going to get accepted if they show non-audition footage of the person. Obviously they got accepted, then footage of them was sent in. Why would they need footage of some goofball that wasn't accepted?
And, boy, Crazy Dave made me laugh. I'm glad they let him through, even just if it's for amusement's sake.
Great. Now you know what to think about these three shows.
Um, bye.
