Why was Decapolis Started?
In May 1999, Conrad started Decapolis.com as an offshoot of a message board of a band (Ghoti Hook) he was in. Interspersed with the chatter of music, movies, Conrad found himself answering many of the same spiritual questions repeatedly. He then decided to have the answers to these questions residing permanently on the web.

Conrad · Editor-in-Chief. Conrad was in the punk rock bank Ghoti Hook (Tooth and Nail records) from 1991-1997 and sold over 60,000 records and had his songs on channels like MTV and NBC. He has a Masters in Christian Thought from Chesapeake Theological Seminary, got his C.P.A. in 1998, owns a recording studio called Decapolis Labs, received an Executive Membership from Costco in 2009, bought and beat Super Mario 3 in 1990 without going bed, and won a pair of color changing gloves in 6th grade.

Where is Decapolis based out of?
Harrisburg, PA. It’s the capital of Pennsylvania. The roads are terrible and have no merge areas.
What does Decapolis mean?
It’s from a Greek word meaning “Ten Cities.” Deca means “ten” as in Decathalon (Ten Events), and Polis as in “city,” like Indiana-polis. Even though Conrad found that word in the Bible, there’s no real reason why he chose it other than “it sounded cool.”
